Messier 16 Eagle Nebula
The stunning M16 Eagle nebula with the iconic Pillars of Creation at its core. The largest pillar is over 4 light years tall.

Messier 13
The Great Cluster in Hercules M13, 300,000 to over half a million stars lie in the cluster in total and about 145 light years in diameter.

The Cresent Nebula
NGC6888, the Crescent nebula floats in the maelstrom of gases and dust 5,000 light years away in Cygnus.

Messier 74 in Pisces.
This is a classic spiral galaxy with it's outer arms stretching to an overall diameter of 95,000 light years, a monster indeed located some 32 million light years from Earth and understood to contain over 100 billion stars which makes it about three times larger than our Milky Way

THE SCULPTOR GALAXY
The Sculptor Galaxy NGC723 estimated to have 10-15 billion stars and 11.4 million light years from Earth.

CG4 'THE HAND OF GOD'
"The Hand of God" (CG4) is a cometary globule type of dark nebula, (bit too nerdy that!), very low on the horizon in Spain, in the constellation Puppis and is usually imaged in the Southern Hemisphere. Dark clear sky and the opportunity to get some really clean data over very long integration times allowed Len to capture this image. It obviously resembles a "hand" but to call it the Hand of God is stretching it a bit as it appears to want to devour the small galaxy (ESO 257-19) above it, (which isn't very "God-like" thing to do). It is some 1,300 Light Years from Earth. Len took the liberty to add some "star spikes" for visual effect!.
